Spec me a game to save my PC

Im on the verge of wanting to sell my PC
Im just not playing on it like i used too, and I think its because there is nothing out there thats grabbing my attention.
Since finishing Portal2 last month ive played nothing.
I know that if i sold it i would probably regret it, and come BF3 and Rage I will be back on it.
So i need something to tide me over until then.
I want something that will envelop me like Portal 2 did,
Nothing dark

Agree with this, get the morrowind overhaul mod that modernizes the graphics.

Stalker can be a acquired taste and its a slow burner, but it does hook you in the end it just needs patience and a rainy afternoon with no other engagements.

Yeah, it can be that kind of game. In fact, that sums up my experience with ME2. I just hope I can re-create the same when I try and get in to ME1, on the fourth attempt. :D
 
You could watch battlestar galactica to get you in the mood for a space opera :)

Other than that I can't help you, I must have a latent desire to have many conversations in deep space as ME1 hooked me without even trying.
 
LoTRO - It's free to play to a certain point, MMO's are good at keeping your gaming going.
 
Agree with the STALKER recommendation. It does take a little bit to get into, but they are amazing game! Especially with the Complete mods installed! Also go for TF2, as it is free :)
 
Theres little out at the moment that in my opinion is any good mate, some of the games here listed by people for me where just poor in many ways. Mass effect series for one, they where complete crap, stalker and fear are also poor. fear 3 is really poor and repetative.

Portal 2 i finished also the other month, that kept me busy for a few weeks, still for me the best racer on the pc is grid, although getting old now nothing seems to be a playable and look as good as that. The next big thing is alright if you like your adventures, pretty tricky too, so would keep you going for a while. Deadspace 2 wasnt too bad, a bit boring after a while though. Dirt 3 was ok too, but again gets boring. You could play black ops but you might be one who hates that game. Other than those games there really is nothing out, TF2 is fun though. I hate co op games so im not one to recommend games like brink, borderlands, left for dead series etc. Bores me to tears. Moh is alright, but the respawn points online are a joke. Crysis 2 gameplay is poor just like the other crysis games, TDU2 is poor and NFS are poor. Byt some people like bad games, so you might find something you wanna have a go at.
