Right,

im bored. Ive havent been buying every latest release, in fact the last game i bought myself was CoH and on Friday night i purchased Dark Messiah through steam. It was finished by Sat night :(

I cant justify spending £30 on a game i can have finished in 2 days. CoH, while great was finished in under 20 hours.

I want you to suggest any games that are cheap, doesnt matter if they are old or not, games that maybe slipped through the net so to speak. Id rather spend £30 and buy 6 games then £30 on one.

Bear in mind im a pretty hardcore gamer so most of the major releases over the last 10 years ive got, but please suggest anything that would be worth a look, or is just fun.

If you want something that will last you a long time you can't go wrong with an MMO, try guild wars if you don't want to pay a subscription, or if you don't mind paying you can go for something like WoW or LOTRO,

ive 2 eve accounts, a unused wow account and guildwars.

As for stalker, its a new release so i havent got it. I'll wait until it drops in price a bit.

Ive just found system shock 2 so i will be getting that :D

I still can't get system shock 2 working on vista x64, i have it patched and everthing :( apparently its just the same fix as you need for xp, so if you get it working please let me know

Some good 'lesser known/not hyped/underrated' titles:

Command and Conquer: Renegade
Tribes: Vengeance
Medal of Honour: Pacific Assault
Serious Sam Gold
Freespace 2
No One Lives Forever 2
MotoGP URT 3
Fahrenheit
Painkiller

These should all be available for under a tenner (if you can find them).

MotoGP URT 3 -never played

some good suggestions, im also going to look for stalker.

Ive just been given Myth the Fallen Lords for my collection. Going to be playing that tomorrow. I think im just going to buy as many games under a fiver that i can and try to bulk out my collection.

Command and Conquer: Renegade wasnt a bad game.
Serious sam: 2nd Encounter if you played the first encounter, this is an awesomely fun game.
Shadowgrounds, is a top down (isometric) shooter that is quite fun & not that well known.
Max Payne & Max Payne 2, if you havent palyed those.
Mafia, is another classic some people missed.
Chaser, whilst quite linear can also be fun if you take it for what it is.

Have you tried the following

Mafia
Bridge commander ( star trek ship sim ) U need the koyabushi mod though.
Final Fantasy 7 ( if you can find it )
Tribes 2

Your supposed to buy rts games for skirmishes, not the campaign. ;)

COh multiplayer is so fun if a tad brutal to noobs,

As i found out in my first online games. getting slaughtered in 10 mins aint fun. And your teammate is like block the bridge and im like umm how do i do that.
