So I have £25 voucher to spend at a high street store.

What game should I get? I like FPS/Driving games but I'm bored of my current collection and wish to have something new to play.

Current collection:

PS3:
Metal Gear Solid 4 (not completed)
Killzone 2 (not completed)
Uncharted 1 & 2 (not completed 2)
Heavy Rain

360:
Modern Warfare 2
COD4
Bad Company 2 (not completed SP)
GTA4 with all expansion packs
Red Dead Redemption (not completed)
Dead Rising
Test Drive Unlimited
Orange Box
Fallout 3 (not completed)
Tiger Woods 09
Guita Hero III
Guita Hero WT
Resident Evil 5
Forza 3

As you can see there is quite a cross section of games I have, I enjoy playing them all.

Games I might consider:

Fable II
Wipeout Fury
Rock Band 1/2 (as the missus really enjoys GHIII/WT)

Anything else that would be worth getting? Am I overlooking any excellent PSN/Arcade titles?

Or should I save it for the upcoming onslaught of good games?

Rock Band Beatles. Even if you're not a big beatles fan this is a fantastic experience and easily one of the best games of last year.

id reccomend saving it for a game you want thats coming out somtime soon and sit down and finish some of the games you already have, i only suggest this as i always end up in the same situation and then keep putting off completing games so i can buy new ones, and then get somthing new before i finish that.

on your list id reccomend MGS4 as its a great game and i loved Uncharted 2 upto about 75% when my save corrupted and im leaving it a while until i start again as its really annoyed me.

not your normal style but if you must have a new game try demons souls, i completed it yesterday and its one of the top games this generation, there is also the NG+ to play making each run through a bit harder but you keep all your equpment and upgrades.

Might not be your cup of tea but, in my opinion, one of the best games in recent history for me has been Batman: Arkham Asylum. It's got a great mix of freeflow melee combat, stealth sections and puzzles. I realise it's not an FPS or a racing game but for me it's a game I would always recommend to people. It's pretty cheap now and you could probs pick up the GOTY edition which has a 3D filter that can be turned on or off. The 3D's pretty bad i guess but you can turn it off.

anyhoo, that's my 2 cents.

Everybody's Golf World Tour
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 - Ninja Gaiden is epic
God of War 3
Final Fantasy XIII
Motorstorm Pacific Rift
Infamous
Alan Wake

Seriously, complete MGS4. I bought it in like January and never even bothered to properly play it until a few months later when I was very bored. After giving it a chance I couldn't put it down and in my opinion it's the best game of this generation and an amazing story with great boss battles.

I hired that,very good game.

I am thinking of saving the voucher, I am having some fun going through the games I have after making this, got the zombie genocide achievement last night on dead rising, and I think its time to fire up the ps3 and complete mgs4 and uncharted 2.

Just fired up mgs4 and I am on act 3 so a little bit of play time left.

Those two and mw2 should tide me over until October 1st for fifa 11 and dead rising 2 then I can spend the voucher and my left over birthday money on them.:D

I don't see burnout paradise in your list? if you're into driving games that lean towards the fun and none sim aspect of the genre, it's definately worth picking up.

i bought assasins creed 2 when it was on offer for £19 and i couldnt stop playing it till i completed it,was soooo much better then the first game, and defo worth a look at if you havent already played it
