Spec me a games controller for my pc

See i have an xbox 360 already, can i just connect my existing wireless controller to the PC via my Play & Charge kit or can i buy say, a wireless adapter?

I don`t think you can get the official xbox 360 wireless controller working that way on the pc. My step dad has a xbox 360 with wireless controller and Play & Charge kit, and before I bought the pc release of the controller I tried his with the Play & Charge kit on it and the usb cable on the Charge kit plugged in one of my usb ports with the drivers of microsoft website and I couldn`t for the life of me get it to work on xp - I didn`t have vista at that time so couldn`t test on that oprating system.

If you have a wired one in your house already it will work, if you don't then buy a wireless dongle for your wireless pad.

If you have neither then it's wether you want wired or wireless from the high street.
it'll have windows compatible on the box (meaning it has drivers for the controller)

The play and charge kit doesn't carry any data, it therefore won't work like that. To use a wireless pad on the PC you need the official wireless adapter.
