as title pls chaps. just moved house and got myslef a new lcd tv want the right lappy for me, budget is £1600 take home, no more. it needs to be able to be able to run most games on my 40 inch tv and be speady enough for true surfing, gaming and most media type things. also would need a blueray drive as my wife wont let me have 2 machines. hope this isnt too vague.

cheers in advance

ok thanks but even with the base model adding a blueray drive and another 2 gigs of ram making it to 4gb it goes way over my budget. plus would one single gfx card on that model actually do what im asking, movies and games upto 40 inches in decent quality?

just a thought to keep the price down could you not get an exterial blue ray drive for your laptop, they would work out much cheaper than the onces dell add in, and may give it longer battory life, plus you could use it on there comptuers £330 sounds a bit steap,

what i ment was with just using a standard dvd drive would use less power than a blue ray drive, so there no point in having something connect that will use more power when you can not experice full hd. e.g i guess most of the time you are away from the screen you will probaly be just browsing the net so no need for blue ray
