After reels of sticky tape and rage quitting the old Razor Barracuda headset has died .

Cost not really an object but I need a decent gaming headset and they dont make the Barracuda anymore ,

Cost no real option , can you guys spec me one please ?

i'd go for this one creative fatality USB

had mine for over a year (not the usb version) comfortable, good quality and doesn't cost much :) plus a removable mic is a nice bit :)

bought a set myself a few weeks ago, they seem good, very comfortable as i wear glasses the headphones i had pushed them into my ears a bit hard and hurt me after a while i don't get that with my new ones, the only thing i'm a bit worried about with the fatal1tys is the mic may break after a while as it seems a little flimsy.

I wouldnt buy them fatality ones on principle! they were £18 not long ago on oc'ers!!

Sennheisers tend to be the best ones but at a cost...

The expnsive SEN's are pretty awsome...have two pairs.

WHOA...why dont OCuk sell senheisers any more????? They are probably beter than everything else they have in stock. I know if I was going to buy another headset...I would defo be buying Sens...so Id go somewhere else. Last 2 sets I have bought from here.

don't get a 'gaming' headset, they're pointless

get HD555 and a desktop mic (elara clip on mic is good)

I use a Creative Fatal1ty, served me for well over a year now.

Next upgrade should be to HD555/595, not sure when though :p

Use the creative fatality myself when im not using my speakers and its good enough for me. I also wear glasses and its still very comfortable. I dont really use the mic much though but it seems to be good quality. ;)

They are quite decent, paid around £25 for mine (not the usb ones) around oh maybe a year ago. Amazed to see it at £18 on ocuk not long ago. :o
