So my old keyboard is on its last legs so it time for a new one. Now Im looking for something that is illuminated. Im also left handed so something like the SteelSeries Merc wouldnt work for me I would imagine. My budget is about £50. Im mostly an FPS gamer (BF3). Also can anyone recommend a decent mouse remember Im a lefty so it needs to be a least ambidextrous. Thanks

For ambidextrous imo you should go for Steelseries Sensei, Zowie AM-GS or Razer Taipan. I'm a FPS gamer myself. I'm using the Steelseries Sensei (Fnatic edition) and it's serving very well indeed. My aim has become much better. In the other hand if yu're determined about getting a Logitech, get the G400. It's much better than the G300 and even it beats the G500. And of-course yu'll need a good surface to get the 100% from any of them.
For keyboard I hope I'm not too late to say this but Logitech G110 and the G510 provide a very bad quality of Anti-ghosting and I'm saying this from my own experience. Get the X4 Sidewinder. Trust me, you won't regret. That's the best you got within this budget. One of my friends bought one two months ago and as he says it's a really the best one you can get.

Hmm. Well Im due to get my G510 tomorrow. Didnt know about the ghosting but I just did a quick search on it and it looks like it affects people who use the arrow keys for gaming more i.e me

It was January of this year when I bought the G110. I also didn't bother searching more as I couldn't expect this from Logitech. Used it for 2 months or so and then sold it. After that I took the G510 just to check it out from one of my mates and Logitech disappointed me again. I don't really know if it's after or before the update though.
