Spec me a gaming keyboard

I woiuld buy a G15 v2, but they changed the colour to orange, so I won't.

If they'd kept it blue I'd have one by now. (I really hate orange).

razer lycosa is one I like the look of.

G15, been using and never looked back :) retro lighting is usefull in dark room. It has a good quality build too.

The G11 is nice cheaper alternative. Only difference is it doesn't have the LCD screen, but honestly not that useful since not many games make use of it, only one that did was BF2 (of the games I have played)

Howdy! Was contemplating getting one of these. Can I ask are you using Vista 64 w/ SP1? As I hear there's some kind of issue or other and has kinda put me off.

i am on vista 64 actually, but dont have sp1 because i heard there was a problem :p

there is a patch on their forums to fix it i think though, but i dont wanna try to be honest

the problem is only with the Z engine it seems anyway

a proper gaming keyboard has larger buttons and a proper gaming layout and the Zboard series are the only ones that have them

Unless you need to type many keys I think smaller keys placed closer together is best, then you can cover the keyboard with one hand with little movement and the other hand for the mouse.
Ideally your hands should be no further apart then with a steering wheel, anything more is uncomfortable and so in time more tiring & less accurate

I've got the Logitech G15 v1 haven't had any complaints about it so far apart from the fact I've broken one of the legs and cant find a replacement anywhere including Logitech!
