Spec me a gaming laptop - £1k budget

Hi,

I'm after a gaming laptop, budget is (up to) £1k.

Don't want it to be too big, 17" screen probably as big as I'd want to go.

Basically want to get the best bang for buck at that price bracket.

Any advice much appreciated,

Rock make some laptops with good warranties as well. Dell XPS could be nice, but a vostro 1500 specced up could be very good as well.
