Spec me a Gaming Mouse

switched from the 518 to a Razer Naga because of my wow addiction. Its fiddly but im already started seeing the potential. Comboed with a G13, im inbutton and macro heaven. Just hoping I burn out before arthritis.

Just bought a MX518 and Roccat Taito Mat from OCUK for around £35. I'll test them tonight and report back. I've examined them and they do feel very good.

Razer DeathAdder Respawn 3500dpi Xtreme Precision Gaming Mouse - Retail £35.74 1 £35.74
Razer Goliathus Alpha Speed Gaming Surface Mouse Pad £10.20 1 £10.20

:O £54 !!!! WTH !!

:D

Awesome combo mate :D pretty much the same as what I've got, albeit I've got the older style deathadder.

I got a Lachesis recently when I got a new laptop. I bring it to work everyday to use on my work pc.

I cried this morning though, as I forgot to bring it with me and have to use a POS dell one. =[

Another vote for the MX518, had mine over 3 years, still go strong. A truely great mouse! Plus the supurb logitech customer-care makes it a winner!

Still using the MX510, have been for years - when it goes, there's a 518 waiting to take its place.

Logitech have got the market cornered for gaming mice, there's very few other mice that seriously rival their range.

One thing that's worth doing is getting a chance to actually feel one - That big PC store will sometimes have a few on display, otherwise asking a friend to use theirs can avoid an expensive mistake. It happened to me once, I bought a G15 to replace my broken Zboard - used it for 10 mins, couldn't get on with it at all, so it had to go back.

I have a SteelSeries ikari optical, it's a little light for my liking but is exceptional on an everglide titan mat. Fits my hand perfectly too.

I've replaced my MX518 at the start of the year with Logitech's new Darkfield ratter (the expensive one) and it tbh isn't in the same league as the MX518. Mind you I don't think it was designed with gaming in mind anyway.

MX518, Listen to this guy - he knows what he's taking about ;)

He doesn't, I've tried one of those, they're rubbish, far too big and you hit the buttons by mistake. It's no good for clawing either. Probably the worst mouse I've tried.
You could probably get used to any mouse given time and the mouse that's the best for you is probably the mouse you've used the most but if you're a clawer rather than a palmer, I'd give this mouse a wide birth.

When I had a quick play with the MX518 earlier I found it fine - I'll properly test it later but I didn't accidentally hit any buttons, etc. The DPI I'm interested in seeing the difference, but the main thing for me, is it's going back to a wired mouse.

I am gonna stick my head out and say...

Razer Mamba.........

Went to it from the Deathadder, and my oh my I fell in love. Seriously, a lot of you will give me stick for forking out as much as I did for it, but end of the day, it is truely the most amazing mouse I have ever used.
