Looking to build my new rig very soon.

Budget is around 600 (I have monitors, optical drives and hard drives) but can push to 700 if the components warrant the increase. I will be gaming mostly on it; running a dual monitor setup (32inch 1080p and a 24inch 1920).

I do want a GOOD case though. Bought a kind of cheapo one for my last build and regret it. Looking at the corsairs but not sure which is best. Willing to put up to 100 for the case (unless you reckon that's way too much).

Thanks guys.

EDIT: I also don't need a psu either (have a modular 1000w corsair)

I've had a bit of a look at myself and deciding between the 7850, 7870 and 7950. Any thoughts?

I've also had some recommendations for cases; fractal seems to be quite popular.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Awesome builds, thanks guys. So you both reckon the 7950 is definitely worth the increase in price? i.e. is it £80 better than a 7850?

I will be buying a second card at some point for crossfire when the games will require it so I don't know if that affects what components I get now.

As for the case, never seen that Antec one, but it looks superb. You suggest it over the Corsair ones?

My buddy Idleman has the P280 ;)

Yes it's a better case, I used the HIS 7950 as it's an external exhaust so is better suited for an Xfire setup :)

Yes, the P280 is a much better case, has both excellent cable management and great air circulation. Is also very quiet.

Hey hono, can`t believe I forgot about the 7.5% already.

Ah well, early night tonight, off to the shop tomorrow. Be nice to check out the build quality of some of these cases we keep speccing. :D
Catch you later.

Awesome, looks like it's going to be that then.
Any other cases though that may be as good noise wise? I'm not crazy about the look to be honest. Prefer a more brushed metal.

Also, do you guys reckon its worth looking at 16gb of RAM? Or is it not really worth the increase in price?
