+1 for Stulid's build but with one slight change - I would consider the
MSI P67A-GD53 Intel P67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard @ £109.99 if your thinking of SLI in the future as this board will run @ x8 / x8 but it is out of stock at the moment :-/

where did you find it will do x8/x8 SLI/crossfire?

i have found plenty of places that say it has two x16 slots, and plenty of places that it does crossfire/SLI, but nowhere that says what speed it will do crossfire/SLI at

How would these specs run most recent games?

this is roughly how they would run most recent games:
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/292?vs=305
the HD 6950 can be 'flashed' to become a 6970, which is why i compared the 6970, not the 6950

dont forget, the spec with the GTX580 doesnt have an SSD, so you wont get those super fast loading times with it, but the game framerate will be better

Here is a good comparison list that gives all that sort of info :)

Keep in mind if you wanted to go dual cards in the future you'd need a higher power PSU such as the one I suggested.

Anymore specs before i order

or does everyone think i should use the one Stulid suggests?

If i need to go crossfire i can just upgrade the PSU
