Spec me a gfx card and psu

Hi all,

I currently have an i5 750, 4gb of ram and a cheap quiet gfx card. Running this is a generic (seasonic?)500w psu. The rest of the specs are 1 ssd, 1 hdd and 1 dvd drive.

I am looking to upgrade to play some new games. I think I can stick with my current cpu etc (It will run at close to 4ghz on this setup although currently it is at stock).

I need to get a new gfx card and potentially a more reliable, better qualitiy psu.

Can you please suggest me both for no more than £200.

are you sure it's a seasonic? if it is, you dont need to upgrade your psu.
seasonics are among the best psus

yes. 500w can power a single gpu system no probs

Look at a AMD 7850, if your PSU is Seasonic then it should be fine. AMD recommend a 500w PSU, see HERE. And check out THIS GPU.

If you can give us the make, model, and the amps on 12V, as well as if it has a PCIE 6/8 pin connector. Then we can confirm if it is suitable.

It may be a Seasonic, but it may not be a PSU geared for gaming.
