i would like to start a youtube channel (!!) was wondering if you could spec me some good equipment? i am not even sure what to get? would my laptops mic be enough?

thanks for suggestions - sorry didnt see this before.

YETI seem to
Blue Yeti still pretty good, and USB makes it easy to setup + very low noise.

I have 2 Blue Yeti's, they will cover anything you want, other than professional voice over work, for blogging or speaking on youtube videos Yeti will be fine.

do u think yeti nano would do a good job? i cant seem to find the 'yeti' - and yeti pro seem a bit expensive..

see what you prefer

the yeti are really nice, but if you do decide to splash out way more money then the sm7b is amazing, sound is much warmer, but it requires more kit than just the mic, sm7b is the standard for radio shows, look at a pic and you will see lots of youtubers using the yeti or the sm7b

yeti is the starting mic, if all goes well and you start to get a following then look at sm7b
