My everglide titan has had many a coffee spilt on it, and I'm in need of a new mat. I'm currently using low sensitivity, and would like another one suited for low sens. My only problem with the everglide titan was that there wasn't enough friction, waay too slidey, would like one with a little more control. This is with an MX518 btw, and what about "feet", could someone give me a little explanation on these and the advantages of using them...

I have owned a QPad and now an Icemat mkII. The QPad was awesome, very big so had loads of room to get that mouse moving, being a low sens user its handy as you tend to move it a bit more than a high sens user.

Now ive moved onto the icemat, which at the mo im reaaally liking! Very smooth, very quick. Only downside is the size after coming from the Qpad.

Also the Icemat comes with feet, basically they raise the mouse up a little and they are very shiny/slidy. Helps the mouse "glide" a lot easier across the mat.

You might consider a Corepad C1 and the feet they also offer (Skatez Pro 2 for MX500 series). Have a look on the corepad webby: http://www.corepad.com/index.php?pagina=products

Although I think as with most cloth pads that it may be smoother than what you'd like.

To this day I'm still using a fUnc surface 1030 (rough side) since the tracking I get with it is great, infinitely better than the titan gamingmat it is sitting on :p My only beef with it would be that it is just a bit too small for low sens use (I find myself having to constantly lift up and re-centre on the pad or else I go shooting off onto the titan). I think their newer product the F30.R replicates the same surface on a considerably larger scale (14" by 11" as opposed to 10" by 5.5" on the 1030).

Having tried some pads like Steelpad and Razor eXactMat i much prefer cloth types - i find them much smoother.

Razer Propad - has both eXact and Speed surfaces so its ideal for both users who want control or speed for any given situation.

I'm looking for something similar to the titan, a cloth mat but with a bit more grip. Any mats like this?

Both Razer Mantis pads are made of the same material as the Titans, with the smooth version being identical. The control version has a rougher surface though which might suit you.

Razer Mantis, agree with that.

And when you say high sens it's really good for low sens too considering it's about the size of an A3 piece of paper, awesome mat imo.

The razer Exactmat is pretty good two sides ones for high sens one with alittle more grip to it. but it isnt cloth.

whats the difference with them all? to me a mouse mat is a mouse mat. I bought my most expensive one (£9.99) about 1 year ago now (i only got it because it has the ge pad for your wrist), it's a belkin mouse mat and is fine, why spend more than a tenner on a mouse mat?
