Spec me a gpu

Just got my new Pc today now it's time for me to start looking for a graphics card I have around £450 to spend. Here is my pc spec

Msi z68a gd65 intel z68
I7 2600k
120gb ssd
8th Kingston ram
Corsair enthusiast tx850w

Ill be playing on my tv which is 1920-1080. I've been reading up a bit on the forum and some people are having problems with running two cards so I'm a bit woried about that as I'm no computer genius

I will be planing on getting a 3d tv at some stage when the price of them drop

Thanks for all the advice. So do yous not think I will see much difference between the 7970 and the 7950? And also is there a prefaird brand like msi
