Spec me a GPU

Hi Guys
At the moment i have a Gig 7850 WF but i'm thinking of getting something with a bit more grunt and then also upgrading to a 120Hz monitor.

My current case is crampted and has poor airflow, I actually leave the side panel off and as you can imagine it gets dusty.

Now I can either buy a 670 and keep my current case, or buy a 7950, overclock the nuts off it and get a new case with enough room.

What do you guys recommend? I game at 1080p, Bf3, Planetside 2, Hitman are my usual games.

7950 would be the wise buy and get yourself a new case, it is nearly xmas afterall

Which is the best 7950 available, well which are the best clockers? Do any use the 7970 pcb?

Gigabyte Windforce overclocks well according to reviews

Yeah i'd say the windforce or the msi twin frozr(ocuk have a new batch, so no more problems)

And no 1 card is guaranteed to overclock better than another. Luck of the draw i'm afraid.

Definitely, its just i thought i read somewhere that cards that use the 7970 pcb had potential for a better overclock.

Shame the Giga WF has gone up in price :confused:

Don't fancy taking a risk on a B grade, knowing my luck it will be a ****ter :confused:

It's up to you, personally i'd save money and go for the 7950.

It's not worth the difference, you can just highly oc the 7950 and you probably only seen a few fps difference between them with both at max oc.
