Spec me a graphics card for £80-£100max

Hi, happy damn Monday everyone

Could you spec me a new graphics card for the above moneys, only use a single monitor, single card.

Only playing MW2 atm, but my 9800 died, and current card (an old 9400GT!!!) only runs smooth with medium settings, 2AA etc.

PC spec in sig if that has bearing on card.

Not bothered whether it's ATI or Nvidia, just needs to be able to be overclocked and within budget, cheers

I was going to say 9800gt is within budget, but you really should get another twenty pounds and get a ATI 5770.

You can pick up a 5750 for £85ish. Its a great card and decent clocker.

They seem to be great overclockers and comfortably reach gtx260 - hd5770 performance.

i will sugest a 480gtx..but get a 5850 instead, 5770 if you want to spend the little bit more.

Spoke to a mate today that has the 5850 and he can't praise it enough, apparently runs MW2 on full settings smoothly.... I will have to see it soon, bearing in mnind that it'd only be saving a few £££'s

Went for the 5750 in the end, got the XFX 512mb 5750 for a shade under £85 locally.

Ran it for two minutes on the original settings, then overclocked it Had it up to 850Mhz/1350Mhz, but backed it off to 800Mhz/1300Mhz

Runs MW2 with all the settings on max - Job Done!
