spec me a haswell build! (first?)

Hey guys

probably a little early

On ocuk now looking for a haswell build, i only need the CPU/Mobo (ideally)

I currently have i7 920, 8GB DDR3 Corsair 750w psu (expensive 2 yr old)

Worth going for i7 4770k?

ideally want to keep budget under £500

Will certainly be for gaming, Current GPU is a 7950

CF/SLI could be optional though i do prefer trying to stick to single GPU in the future may intend on dual

With the new haswell build i am looking at replacing my 7950 with a 780

stupid question incoming.. all these boards support PCI 3.0?

another question with my current cooler is the 1155 bracket the same as 1150 for mounting?

I am more torn on motherboard choice at present. looking no more than £200

Acme has it pretty much spot on with board choice, the board/cpu are pci3.0

All the boards have support for PCI-E 3.0 yes, unless I am missing something. (i dont think I am)

Of course the choice may not be 'that easy' but those are the ones I would seriously consider. Personally I think Gigabyte is the way to go for Z87 judging by how good their Z77 boards were. And of course they look fantastic as always

I will probably replace my board with a nice Z68 Gigabyte in the near future too. (I am convinced that my ASRock is the cause of a multitude of issues with my PC)
