The battery is buggered on my head hair trimmer and doing a search for a new one I get pictures of floppy men showing off the trimmer.
The one I have I bought on line and is a Wahl man grooming kit - I thought head-mustache -beard but it came with some little trimmers I had no idea what they were for. (I do now) So I need a battery shaver that has a No1 and no2 trimmer guide just for cutting the hair on my head - Nothing else just my head.
Don't want to pay silly money but it needs a better battery than is in the one I have.

Since when has cutting the hair on your head become a pain in the ass.

Been using Philips QC5570 for about 4 years, very easy to use for self cuts and good for low grades like 1 and 2, but can go longer. 0.5mm - 15mm. Cut my hair with it at least once a month since then, still working great.

Same here, although the little plastic click that holds the guard in place snapped once, so the guard fell off as I flicked it behind me, yeah didn't realize till I felt the blade on my head :o
Bought the same model again though, don't think a better clipper exists if you like it short and simple. Hard to find them now though.

I did buy a Phillips digital precision HC9450 any style a year ago and it's the biggest load of poo you could ever buy - It was in a top ten list of clippers.
When using it your hand changes the depth rate without you knowing.

I will order the remington one and see how it goes. -72 quid for Phillips is a bit much after my experience with the one I have
Thanks

Bum -- out of stock

Just ordered the £7 one online from Asda George, all the reviews seem to rave about it.

It's showing as out of stock but keeps changing from out of stock to low stock.

I've never cut my hair myself before but it can't be that hard to give myself a No2 all over. :o

Snap. I wouldn’t use anything else. The rotating head is brilliant.

I have a Wahl and it came with a full set of #1 to #8 plus graded for around the ears. It is mains powered, though. I give myself a #2 or #3 cut.

Just rummaged through all my drawers and found my 20 yr old Babyliss mains one -that will do now I have found the No1 and 2 heads as well.

I have been cutting mine after I retired and dumped my Ringo haircut for a no1. -My hair grows in every direction so part was flat and other parts sticking up. Best thing I have ever done except for when it's cold.
