I use my sennheiser HD600's for gaming, they are very good for it, with openal and CMSS enabled. I have a pair of grado SR 125's too, but they aren't as suited for positioning because the oundstage is smaller, but they are much better for music in terms of detail and accuracy, and tighter base.
My brother has a set of Medusas.SnipaMasta said:Any surround sound headphones, prefrably Medusa's, will be best.

Worse sound quality than my £10 headset I bought from a competitor made by Lancer. And the Clarity of the surround is poor. I for one can't tell the difference between front and back sound clearly enough for it to be usefull.
Just get a decent stereo headset
