Spec me a helmet please...

...need some help choosing a helmet. The reason I need one is not because I ride a motorbike but more out of necessity for being track side during motor-racing events. So as the passenger in medical cars chasing races etc. I also, once or twice a year do some karting and very rarely will take my car out on track. So all in all I will probably using it about 3-4 times a year.

My budget is ~£250. I was looking at getting a full face helmet (just for the karting part) but not sure which brand etc to go for. I quite like the look of the Arai Chaser V - which can be had for £249.99 but any thoughts much appreciated.

A cheap helmet that fits is safer than an expensive one that doesn't. Don't look for specific helmets, try some on and you will find the one that fits properly. Then try one out of the box as all sizes are not the same even with the same brand. Never buy the demonstration on as you do not know if someone has dropped it or worse.
