I agree with Cyprus, I've been twice, its brilliant.

However if you want things to do, go to like somewhere in USA, plenty of things to see over there

For it to be comfortably warm, you will have to go way into the southern med.

For interest, and not just sitting about, I would recommend Turkey. Few places in the world match a brilliant city (Istanbul), brilliant beaches (The Aegean Coast) ancient wonders of, such as Xanthos and Ephesus, and some brilliant and breathtaking scenary and natural phenomena, like Cappadoccia.

I highly recommend the following luxury holiday maker who i once went with. Some of the holidays are expensive, the cheapest is £500 a week per person, but they are fantastic, seclude villas. Ours was ten minutes from the beach in a car, but high up int he mountains, near a tiny village where every morning we heard the glorious muslim singing.

Its perfect.
