Spec me a holiday...

I want to take the missus out of the country on new year but dont know where to take her.

I want somewhere that is going to be reasonably cheap £150 budget each (give or take). It will be for the 28th - 2nd Jan plus or minus 1 day.

I was thinking somewhere in ireland...

EDIT: as the concensus seems to be that £150 wont be enough it is now £200 each. again this can vary a bit. I am just after ideas.

Its my gf of 2 years and I want to take her away as a suprise for the xmas holidays.

Because people on the net will have had experiences in places that I have not.

That budget is for flights and accom. Spending money is seperate.

60 quid a night will get you a budget B&B but no flights.

so 5 nights over the new year (peak) period and a budget of £300? is that including everything like spending money, food, flights, transfers, travel and parking at airport etc etc.

some self-catering in the mediterranean area if you are lucky.

Have you flown over the new year period? Prices are expensive.

Cheap places I can think of are Paris and Barcelona but I would be suprised if £300 is enough at that time of the year.

You'll still be incredibly lucky to get anything worth doing for £150 per person over new year.

Either double it, or don't go.

i imagine for this budget it will be whatever is affordable/on offer rather than a suitable location, anywhere from Majorca, Spain, Portugal, Ibiza etc,

but as pointed out at this time of year, it will be a push.

When are you going? because Oktoberfest finishes on the 3rd of October so I hope you are going soon lol

Haha Yeah I read that but Ive heard people thinking Oktoberfest was in October (as you would kinda expect) but its mostly through September

Just confirming he didnt get it super cheap because he was going after it was all finished
