This isnt primarily about security. It is for "Babysitting" purposes.

My Mother is getting a bit wobbly and I am concerned that she might fall down and not be able to get up again. :(

I am after a CCTV system that would allow me to keep an eye on her when I am not there.

I will be wanting a system that has PC/internet connectivity (Bizarrely many/most only seem to allow smartphone/ipad connectivity  )

Ideally it would have...

1) Remote control for some/all cameras

2) Sound

3) Some way to rig a "Panic Switch" that could call my mobile etc

4) Some way of providing two way voice coms (So I could talk to her if necessary)

(There may be other useful features I will be wanting but these are the main ones)

Any suggestions??

Actually some features that would be useful are the opposite to what you'd find on a CCTV system, like a txt alarm after a period of inactivity, or a cold bed alarm (like say she gets up in the night but doesn't make it back to bed)
A lanyard panic alarm is a must, along with panic buttons at floor level in the bedroom.
Some of these features are more likely to be found on a burglar alarm.

If your go to maplin you can buy a 4 cam system for under 200 and most of them let you use your phone/tablet while your not at the house to still see what is going on.

I would get one of them so while your out you can keep a eye on the cameras and your mom.
