Spec me a Homeworld 2 type game

Anyone who played Homeworld 2 back in the day knew that it was a classic game. Is there anything like this that will run on Windows 7 at full res ?

Homeworld 2 will do exactly that, I play it all the time

I really can't think of anything else like it apart from Sins of a Solar Empire, but it is on a different scale, and I didn't really like it.

Why oh why don't they do a Homeworld 3? Would be absolutely epic with modern multi-core cpus and graphics hardware.

didnt someone buy the rights to homeworld 3 a few years ago but nothing ever came of it?

just checked relic have the license since around 2007

Takes a while to get to grips with it though I found

Relic are trying to figure out how to "consolise" it. When they do, it will be released
