Whats the problem..

And you'd put that in your living room ? (I dare not imagine what yours looks like :D )

I was thinking of the TJ07 / Lian Li V1200 in the living room but am skuttling the idea in favour of a proper HTPC case.

EDIT : Above 2 posters are on the ball thanks chaps

Claritas, by Stands-Unique if you would like your case classy and British. :p

I'm quite happy with my Silverstone LC16M case, have a look on their website to see details on their range, (its a pity that they are not stocked here ... but I suppose you can get them elsewhere and the rest of your innards here).

I would comment that its a good idea to replace the front usb/firewire/audio module it comes with with something like the akasa 3.5" card reader unit as it simplifies internal cabling and if you are using something like a P5B deluxe which has the 8 pin additional motherboard connection right over on the far side from the PSU then you will need a power extension cable for it.

Other than that I am running:

E6600
P5B Deluxe
2x 1GB PC6400
Asus 7600GS (with passive cooling)
Nova-T 500
Creative X-Fi Gamer
2x Samsung 500GB
Liteon 20x DVDRW (sata)

in mine and I am very happy with the results.

The L16M is a great case but you will not fit a full length GFX card in with an internal optical drive. To get a 7800GTX to fit I got an external DVD drive (LG) - which is quieter than any of my internal drives :D

aaahhh ... also with an external LG DVD, (at least with the one on my desk at work), you can boot a HP BL60p Blade in order to install HPUX .... although not that relevant here ;)

Without get an mcubed hfx case, not cheap but well worth it with the add in passive heatsinks.

Would link but are competitors so can't.

Way too expensive, looking at £400 for the lot, £300 for case, £50+ £60 for videocard & CPUcooler, £40 for northbridge, plus a PSU!
