So i've been using my HTPC for about a year now in a small form factor case.

But it's a bit loud and fugly and showing it's age, so I am looking for something that looks nice for under the TV (The shape of an AMP or something) but also has enough room for 1xSSD and 3x3.5HDD.

I was going to have a separate server for the HDD's to store my media collection, but if I can get it all in a nice case even better.

Cheers :)

The CoolerMaster Elite 120 may be?

It has three 3.5" Drive Bays, and as for your 2.5" SSD, I think you would have to either just leave it on top one of the 3.5" Drives (Blu-Tack may be?), or below the bottom 3.5" Drive (not sure if there's enough space).

I think you will struggle to find smaller case than this that can take three 3.5" Drive Bays.

The Streacom ones are awesome! Very high quality. Expensive, but awesome nevertheless.

You can also go for the Impatics ones

I have a Moneual 320 - Nominally it only has space for 3 HDDs but I'm sure you could find somewhere else to mount the SSD - I have a server so I only have an SSD in it anyway. It's micro atx but takes a standard PSU and isn't shorter than most HTPC cases so fits well under the tv.

It's very pretty, but quite expensive (I think it was like £200) not sure if its been discontinued or not though

I've recently built a HTPC in a Fractal Node 605, has room for 4x3.5" HDD/SSD, about the same size as an AV amp, really nice subtle looking case.

I didn't. I am just about to sell it because I bought a Arctic Cooling Unit little while ago. I found that if you hide the cables under the bit where the hard drives fit (That covers the psu) You can make it pretty tidy. I did have a scare a while back when I couldn't find the keys to the front though. So I emailed Silverstone and they wanted 80p for the keys but £6 postage.. lol. Then I looked and they were in the box :D

Something I loved about this case was how nice and short it is. Yes it causes you issues if you have an optical drive and a high cooler but other than that its mint.

Thanks for the reply.

The problem I'm having is the PSU's modular connectors are pretty much in the middle of the power supply. When I try to attach the hdd cage it fouls the cables and I'm unable to get it in place.

I'm not sure turning it upside down will make much of a difference as the connectors will pretty much be in the same position.

Hoping I'm not going to have to bust out the dremel.

Apart from that I'm loving the case though. Getting it all tidy is a bit of an effort what with the longer than nececssary USB3 extender and all the other bits and pieces, but it's all good.

The REALLY bright blue LEDs are a bit of a pain though especially when reading from the hdd. I was going to see if I could remove 1 or 2 and change the HDD one to red but never got round to it.

All up and running :) Very pleased with it all. Only have 2 case fans running at the moment and temps seems fine. Will replace these with some Scythe PWM to bring down the noise even more.

Great so far :)
