I was thinking of going the 3800+ route and using the extra cash to get 2 spinpoint hdds for possible dvd storage. AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ (Socket 939) - OEM (CP-152-AM) £191.47 Asus A8N-E nForce4 Ultra (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-088-AS) £70.44 GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC3200 Value Dual Channel Kit CAS3 (GE2GB3200BDC) (MY-046-GL) £105.69 Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 754/939/940) (FG-000-AR) £15.22 Seasonic S12 500W Silent ATX2.0 Power Supply (CA-001-SS) £84.54 Samsung SpinPoint P SP2514N 250GB ATA-133 8MB Cache - OEM (HD-020-SA) £62.22 x2 = £124.44 Total = £591.80 Going for Seasonic psu as i'm striving for a quiet as possible htpc.
