Spec me a HTPC

I'm looking to put together a second PC for use in the lounge. I've already got a gaming rig (see sig) so this second PC is just going to be used to watch HD movies and streaming content (Youtube HD, iPlayer etc) in the lounge on a 42" LCD.

I don't want to spend much at all if I can help it so lets say £300'ish as a budget.

Can anyone help advise me?

I'd get this if you're not interested in playing blu-ray discs.

Spec yourself one and then someone will come along to help with the spec you have chosen if there are problems with that build.

Another vote for a PS3. Does the job fine with HD content. You'll just have to stream your videos to your PS3 from your current rig.

Will save you a lot of hassle with setting up a pc just for watching videos.
