My father would like a PC to plug in to a projector and show on a widescreen, also to do occasional gaming on the projector for some reason, he will be playing BO II and other stuff like that, low setting etc...
I got my Dad to have a look at this, he says he want's Intel, he says he trusts them more, I'll get that in his basket and replace it with a i5 3570K and a nice Gigabyte mobo and a 3TB Green drive, thanks for the help man!
Possibly something like this then?
However, what you said suggests that the i5 will be overkill for his needs. For general use and gaming at low settings I'd highly suggest a Trinity build.
Not really, it's also going to be for light gaming, he does a lot of business stuff as well, already got another monitor, and we like to watch a ton of movies, and we already have a NAS 6TB with billions of movies on it, this isn't really overkill.
Tbf you said light gaming. And where did I say OMG?
You seem to have taken offence to the fact that I said your set up sounds cool.
So, in summary, it hasn't escalated at all!
