Hi,

I was going to be buying a Zotac ID83 for around £380 and just thought Id come here first to see if someone could give me an example of build that might rival its specs for a similar price.

Any help appreciated.

Also I do already have a NAS of sorts - I use Unraid.

My dad had a Rasp Pi but I like running XBMC with the best skin which is too graphic intensive for Aeon Nox.

Sorry, went over... Currently in a lecture so I will try harder when I can get away with it :D

I think i had the wrong idea in mind haha.

I made the assumption that you would want blu-ray and plenty of storage. And that you would want it in an HTPC style case, and you would want it to be quiet. :p

Thanks for the effort :) I do want it to be quiet, but I have storage and bluray covered elsewhere.

I tried again and came up with this, but I recon that little gem of a Sapphire (:D) would be a better option because of the stronger graphical side of the APU. Im not sure how a 1.6GHz quad core compares to a 3.4GHz dual core for HTPC use though. :)

Thanks for the advice - much appreciated.

After reading some reviews I decided to go for the Sapphire, quite good that I just reached 100 posts for the free shipping :)
