Hey guys,
Iv been looking at these indoor bicycle trainers, the one's that convert your bicycle into a indoor bicycle type job.
Im an ex motocross racer and since I stopped racing iv become quite sluggish, but even back in my prime I was never a fan of cycling outdoors, I don't know why, i always used to go to the gym.
But now traveling to the gym with no motivation or reason to, it doesn't seem worth traveling 10 miles.
Where as if i had a bike sat in the living room there ready to ride always, it would make more sense for me, as it would be looking at me ready to use and id have no excuse.
Now, iv seen the prices of these thing's go from 30 pounds way up to hundreds.
Ideally, id want to spend about 50 on my first one ever just in case it turn's out i never used it after the hype of having something new, but if i did use it a lot then few month's down the line if needed if the cheap one wasn't doing the job very well due to low cost and quality, id ask the same question here again for something that's going to last and be better overall.
So for 50 pound's what can i be looking at? my bicycle aint nothing fancy just a 200 pound specialized from few years back but it should do the job.
Ideally the quietest trainer possible would be ideal, one that's easy quick release rather than one where you need to take the spindle out when you want to remove it from the trainer, as this bike is used 3 times per week by my friend aswell.
Thanks!
Edit: oops, i think this should have been posted in pedal power topic if someone can move it, my bad!
