Hi, is there anyone in the Leeds, Bramley area with a jcb or mini digger that could do me a favour for cheap ?

I am revovating my garden and I'm having throuble pulling out the pivot hedges roots.

There's about 10 roots in total so wouldn't take long.

Can pay a small fee :D

Or if anyone knows a good way to pull them out ?

Cheers

Break your back? What are you a man or mouse? It's 10 roots for what is quite frankly something not that large.

Just dig under the main part then use a trolly jack to snap them off.

I'm a man thanks.

And tbh mate you should see the size of these roots.. they have been in the garden for the past 30 years..so have been growing for along time :(.

I see where your coming from but after starting work at 7am getting home for 5 then doing the garden.. not much energy to be digging roots out.

Your are more than welcome to come dig them out if you want :p

Perhaps i just like digging! I do my fair share on an acre of main garden and whatever else in woods, so i have enough digging to do of my own, lol!

Hire some polish people, is probably the best option :p

Man up.

It's only 10 roots, I dug out 20 when clearing the garden here.

If you want the easy way, then you only need a micro excavator or 1.6ton excavator maximum, hire for a day or weekend.

rope plus tow bar does the same job for cheaper.

Find a car with a towbar, rope round the roots, take up the slack and gentle pull! Should do the job
