I still love my Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2Fond memories of my first thrustmaster many many years ago.
I hope you dont use that just to play BF2
In answer to OP: I love my Microsoft Sidewinder FFB2. Great joystick and I've used it since my early IL2 days and its still going strong![]()
Microsoft Sidewinder are solid and will last you many, many years. I have never liked Saitek's myself.
Another satisfied MS Sidewinder F.Feedback 2 user - I love it so much I'm getting a second for when I can no longer repair mine! Without a doubt the finest joystick available and can be had for as little as £20![]()
Most people I know who are quite good pilots in BF2 use this:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...d=288&subcat=&name=Saitek Cyborg Evo Joystick
I've had a go, and it makes it so much easier than mouse/keyboard
More of an infantry player myself, so i've never bought one.
i demand u look on my trust and tell me where from!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!etc etc u get the idea

still not in stockalthogh i have been looking at this cyborg evo and is there an issue with when u have the throttle on full that when u pull the stick all the way back they interfere with eachother, ie. trying to occupy the same space so you'll either not full back all the way or cut the throttle? maybe thinking about the logitech force 3d... this any good? as its the same price as the cyborg force but in stopck and has better placement of buttons on the base
