I'm wanting a joystick to improve my flying within Battlefield 2.
I have my eye on the Logitech Force™ 3D Pro which can be had for £35 or so.

Is this a good joystick and does anyone know if it will work well in BF2 and other games? I don't want to break the bank

I use the force 3d pro and had the normal 3d pro. Good joystick served me well for bf2. can't go wrong although i haven't found any force feed back games for it though

I have one, yeah its good, mine has the nasty tendency to pull of to the left on other games don't know why,so I have to have it disabled, funny enough only does it with drivers installed(which I have to for my keyboard)

It tends to do that sometimes. I tend to enable centre spring or something in the properties and works fine.

No theres is no force feed back in bf2

I'd recommend the Microsoft Sidwinder Force Feedback 2.

You'd need to try and get one second hand though as they stopped making them years ago.

reading about that it seems it does not have very good Vista support.

I'm still reading mixed reviews on the Logitech Force 3d pro

also liking this Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X PS3 (PC compatible) but it doesn't have force feedback but does look very good. Anyone confirm if this is a good setup?

edit: scrap the above Thrustmaster - it doesn't have twist rudder ability
looks like the Logitech it is - can be had for £40
