OK our kettle is on its last legs so it won't be long before we need to buy a new one.

I have a decent burr grinder, an aeropress and a krups milk frother and I'm making coffee I'm really happy with.

Question is this - is one these kettles that allows you to dial in a specific temperature any good, will it make a better coffee with the water being "just right", there's a sage kettle for £90 which looks good.

Worth getting or money for old rope? Don't mind splashing the cash if it's worth doing.

The point of a kettle that does 90c is so you don't "burn" your coffee or tea leaves.

If you have an espresso machine then it doesn't matter as much as the coffee is already made. Or boil the kettle 2 mins earlier than normal.
