Siemens Porsche if you can get one....theres a few on the bay

Bought mine at full price (and the toaster), must have been off my head.

Why would anyone want to pay good money for a 2400w kettle which would take around 5 mins to boil its water? :/

Because it stays warm for ever, it has a vacuum flask.

I would have bought one except it has a few problems, you cant tell how hot the water is since its always cool to touch, it has a problem of dripping once you finish pouring a cup.

I bought the siemens coffee maker and that is amazing though no problems with that

Never got a coffee machine bought, although I'm now tempted.

I had a superb Morphy Richards Colour Changing Kettle that was blue and went hot pink when it got hot.
I have one of those, but mine goes from dark green to bright lime green. I've had it for years and it's still going strong, boils water as fast as it ever did (about 2 mins).

Honestly you are better buying a good kettle and a separate water filter.

You being serious? Spec you a kettle.

Cheapest one you can find and use a seperate water filter.
The water here is hard but I just stick it straight into the kettle I got for about a tenner in comet, looks nice, boils the water. In tea you can't really tell when water is lousy.

open your argos catalogue at the kettles page and pick one that goes with your colour scheme.

Buy yourself a normal Britta water filter, filter the water and then pour that into your kettle.

Are you serious ? You need help from an internet forum to pick a kettle ?

Jeez, you know I never thought to look in an argos book or on the web myself. Wow, if I'd done that I could have saved a couple of you wasting your precious time replying to this thread with drivel whilst also bumping your own post numbers!! If you don't like the post don't read it, I was only asking if anyone had used a filter kettle and if there where any good ones about.
