Spec me a Keyboard + Mouse

At the minute i have a bog standard logitech wireless keyboard and a microsoft intellimouse explorer 3.0

Am looking into getting a new keyboard and mouse for christmas, and possibly a mouse mat if prices arent silly

Mainly playing FPS and WoW at the minute, have seen the new cataclysm pieces which look awesome but i can see them being pricey

What can people reccomend?

logitech mx518 and keyboard take your pick personally I use microsoft 500's.

Depends on your budget.

I use a Microsft Sidewinder X4 keyboard which I find superb for the price (backlit and good macro key functions) and my trusty old Logitech MX400 laser mouse. I will prob stick with logitech when this goes, which I fear may be soon. And I use a razer Goliathus mouse pad which is good.

I use an MX518 (had it for about 5 years now, no plans to change) and a Saitek Eclipse 2 keyboard. Backlit, feels nice, looks good...job done. If I played Eve or something more complicated I'd probably invest in a G15 though.

Currently using g15 keyboard and razer diamondback which is handy for been able to set the sensitivity by holding a button and scolling the wheel

I have the Razer Lycosa keyboard the keys are the same as on a laptop which i like, very short travel.
As for a mouse id have to say the Razer Imperator by far the best for me at the moment.
Rather than getting a new keyboard what about one of these.

Logitech MX518 and Logitech G15 keyboard.

They even match each other colour wise as well as being a top draw KB & Mouse combo.

I can vouch for microsoft peripherals!

Am using a sidewinder x6 keyboard and sidewinder x8 mouse, the x6 is lovely to type on.

The MX518 looks a ncie mouse, and isnt stupidly priced so may add one of those onto my christmas list.

The G11/G15 keyboards maybe pushing it at over £50, but ill see

Ha, I've got the Cyborg mouse too! Though the mouse needs replacing, mouse wheel click doesn't work any more and the 6th thumb button never did work, I just keep it to adjust the size every now and again

I use an MX518 mouse and Logitech Illuminated keyboard, works perfectly for me.

If you're into your macro keys and things for WoW then I wouldn't recommend the illuminated though.

As for a mouse mat I have a Boogie Bug XL, it's awesome

Oh yeah you will definitely want a mousepad too. I have tried a few Razer ones. The Razer eXactMat which was good for a while until it got scratched which rendered it unusable. I then got the Razer Goliathus Alpha Speed which is a wonderful pad and as it is soft is fairly difficult to ruin it.

Unless you want to push the boat out then i'll give another recommendation for the MX518. Great mouse. Keyboard... take your pick tbh.
