Spec Me... a keyboard (Yes yet another stupid spec me thread)

Hi there guys.
I have £50 spare money and decided shall finally replace the bog standard keyboard with one which is much better.

I do play games in which people use macro a lot (such as WoW and CoD 4 MW2), but I myself am more of a clicker, and so already have a mouse with macro keys on (thus macro keys are the bottom of my priority list).
Also I ocassionally (make that often when playing horror games as it seems to make it more scary IMO) Play games and Movies in the dark so would like to be able to still see keyboard in Dark.
I love the looks of the g15 keyboard although to me it feels a bit pricey (and the looks of the Razer black-widow although that is a huge amount way to expensive), I utterly despise the looks of the Saitek Cyborg V5, although I can't pinpoint why (something to do with it looking like a prop from a very bad Sci-fi movie maybe.)

My main qualm with this current keyboard is it has no media keys at all, isn't comfortable or particularly nice looking and the keys feel a bit much like a typewriter (what'd you expect for cheapo one I got temporarily for £4.99.)

Summary: current keyboard naff, Want Media keys, lights and looks (said what like and don't like earlier.) as well as comfort (and reasonable response time) Macro keys not necessary as I prefer to click macros and so already have them built-in to mouse.
so as the topic title says, can you spec me a keyboard?

I may buy that one then.
Keyboards seem like one of them things you can't really tell if good just from product description in my opinion, that's why I wanted recommendations based on my spec from folks who have used em.

any others to compare it or is that best I can get for what I want?

X4 is great. Well, probably - I have an X6 which is also great, so I'm sure it's little brother is good too. X6 has a less understated look than the X4, though still quite sophisticated/not childish imho. Dials for system volume and backlight dimming are great, but best thing is the removable/attachable on the left or on the right keypad gimmick. I actually use that far more than I thought i would. Great keyboard.

Edit: unfortunately both out of stock here :(. Not sure why the same price, either - X6 used to cost more than X4. Can be had elsewhere of course.

Sidewinder X4 is a great keyboard. I have the Logitech G15 and was considering selling for one! They're comfortable :)

I'd argue that illumination is irrelevant really - the glow from a monitor is more than enough to see keys on a keyboard unless you've got a plain black scene really. It depends a lot on what you value though - are you fussed about wired vs wireless? Height? No idea what you mean by response time...

I prefer wired personally, harder to lose.
I said wrong word not response time, err like smooth to use keys nt too far spaced out and stuff...

The only thing I don't like about the sidewinder (and most new gaming keyboards) is the small "Enter" key. Just thought I'd point that out in case it will bother you.

I will add that I used to have a back-lit Microsoft X6 and the paint on the keys rubbed off over time sadly, starting with the space bar and then the WASD keys that I suppose get used more due to gaming.

I liked the keyboard its just it ended up looking so tatty I couldn't put up with it anymore.

My logitech illuminated keyboard hasn't done anything like this yet :).
