Spec me a keyboard!

Hey all,

I'm going to be spending a lot of time on the computer doing web development stuff so its needs to be comfortable to use for a long time.

I have been using the first Saitek Eclipse for a while and find it a bit uncomfortable. I've started to use my Microsoft Ergonomic split keyboard now - and this isn't that great - the key presses aren't comfortable.

So what is there to get? I don't really need all the shortcut buttons etc.

Just something nice to type on with short key presses and an arm rest.

Looked at the Razer keyboards - maybe they're overkill though.

i used an Enermax Aurora for a few months but got coffee all in it. Lovely keyboard though - probably the best I've used. Using a cheapo Logitech £10 job now, does the job just fine.

The elixir 1 has a rest on it which is tempting. Are the keys the same to the elixir 2 (not all the shortcut keys etc).

I like the price of it!

Yeah I saw the Aurora and it looks great - quite tempted by that too but was intending not to spend that much.

In the end I spent £40 on the Logitech Illuminated Slim Keyboard - Its awesome!
