i'm currently using a Saitek II but starting to dislike it's feel when gaming and general day to day stuff.

Was looking at the Razer Lycosa but was wondering what others sugest first. not looking to spend much over £60

If you're not looking for a gaming keyboard, and just want a general purpose one with media keys then I find the Logitech 600 is nice.

Clearly it's no gaming keyboard though!

i'm the same as you Colnol. don't like the small enter key either. i was in a high street store in india ;) and they had the lycosa and loved the feel of the keys and the overall look of it. thats what is swaying me at present

Dont get the lycosa. I had it for a few days and sent it back because it had issues when using caps lock on gaming

Had the Lycosa for donkeys and love it. No problems whatsoever, low profile keys nice response, good to type on, VERY nice to game on and looks excellent with my Deathadder and case !!

Not sure why you need CAPS on for gaming?

Very good keyboard but expensive - the most commonly appreciated keybaord is the G15 I think.

if i buy from OCUK i think the Lycosa is out the question. it has got the small thin enter key (US Version) and not the standard Uk layout big fat key.

i'll have a look at alternatives and post up what i'm looking at for others to help me choose

I have the lycosa, not had any problems with it so far, except that i got the mirror version, and it it gets dirty with fingerprints very easily :P but it does come with a cleaning cloth and looks really nice and shiny when clean.

It doesnt have extra macro buttons, but with the software you can assign macro's to the existing keys, and have program specific macro settings, plus this also means i isnt a realy big keyboard as it doesnt have to accomodate extra keys.

It is rather expensive though, and the pictures on ocuk do show the american layout, not sure if what you would recieve would be uk or us layout :s plus the shiney key mirror edition isnt on ocuk.
