hi all

looking for a recommendation please on a keyboard, looking cheaper end but will spend up to £50 if something ticks all the boxes. Bought a corsair gaming keyboard recently but the keystroke is too long compared to my work keyboard, so cant type for ....

requirements:

low profile, but not laptop style
uk layout

wants:
backlit (any colour)

thanks

thanks gents. haven't used the laptop type so would want to try it out somewhere first. Have actually picked up one of the same type I use at work (non backlit unfortunately) will give that a go and keep looking.

I've used keyboards with chiclet keys. It's a very fast response but it doesn't have the kind of travel my fingers appreciate (I'm old and still remember the IBM model M from when it was new). If you appreciate short travel, you should be happy with a chiclet keybo. The cougar vantar is very sharp looking and has fun lighting.

ive sort of got used to a middle ground at work and with a cherry keyboard i had at home before i doused it in coffee. Sounds like the corsair one i bought would be right up your street.

We've got some chiclet ones at work, will have to do a swap with someone for an afternoon.

It is of vital importance that you buy one with RGB LEDs all over it. If you don't then you aren't a proper overclocker haha.

lol :D - I only want the backlighting for later night gaming - my tastes arent gangsta.
