Spec me a laptop ~£350

Hi guys, please could you spec me a laptop around £350 for work use. I don't mind if its refurbished at all as long as it comes with a good guarantee.

What are the ideal specs for this price range (I'm a bit out of the loop on laptops).

I was looking at a dell vostro 1700 or inspirion 1525 as new, unsure of where to look for refurb stuff.

It would definately have dual core technology and at least 1GB DDR2. There are some laptops available with 2GB for around this price. I would aim for getting an Intel based laptop. Acer, Asus and HP do laptops in this price-range. Unfortunately, can't mention any competitors on this forum as it breaches the terms of the rules.
