Need a laptop for my daughter for school work and Roblox/Minecraft type games. 16gb RAM and as best processor as possible.

eBay might be your best chance then. Look for 11th gen and on with 3050 or better. 16gb ram minimum these days.

Thanks for the reply, if it was myself I'd do this but being close to Xmas and for my daughter I'd rather not risk it.

Your decision, for one of my daughters, I just picked up an Msi Pulse GL66, i9-12900H, RTX, QHD 165Hz, 16 GB RAM, 1TB SSD in immaculate order for less than £550, I only buy from decent ebayers with good feedback plus you have the buyers protection.

I purchased an Intel i5 - 12th Gen laptop, SSD, 16 gig of ram (laptop was upgradable to 64gb if you wanted). high end CPU speed and high end CPU spec. The laptop has SODIMM slots so easily upgradable rather than the soldered RAM.

purchased from a dell seller the laptop was refurbed but grade A not a single mark on it, was not a dell outlet but came with remaining 1 years dell official warrenty
I paid £254.99 for the laptop

you have to do your riggorous checks on both the laptop, its condition and the seller through when putchasing from ebay

I was happy with the laptop, Dell latitudes are good laptops, i have had several work laptops which were lattitude and the current work one is,

I think if you are going to buy from ebay you have to be quite experienced with ebay and what you are buying. If you aren't the chances of getting ripped off or buying a dud are substantial.
