Spec me a laptop please

this is my first time looking at laptops, I know nothing about them, my wife wants a laptop to surf the net wirelessly but it also has to have a decent enough battery to watch a DVD on and a decent enough graphics card for the same reason. No idea how much memory it would want, would 1 gigg work vista ok to that standard? she wont be playing games on it.

Does anyone have any ideas? was looking at the Samsung NP-R40XY02/SUK R40 Intel Celeron M440 Laptop.
