Spec me a laptop

Please!

My girlfriend has around £500 max to spend, it will be used for office type work, internet and maybe some gaming (nothing graphically intensive).

I did find the FUJITSU SIEMENS Li1718 for £389 but i have heard that Fujitsu Siemens have a bad build quality?

Can anyone else suggest something?

Hi mate sorry been slow @ getting back, well i reckon for the money you going to be hard pushed to beat that TBH, and spec so i'd say go for that. one thing i would say is bump the ram up to 2gig with Vista.

Looks a decent spec. As already mentioned, upgrade the RAM to 2GB.

No idea what the build quality and after sale support is like with Fujitsu though.

just bought pretty much the same spec for £350 +vat

dual core T2080 1.73 Ghz
2048mb ram

only an 80gb hdd but other than that pretty similar

cant say much more as it would come under talking about competitors, but will say it was bought over the counter retail.
