mates just asked my advice on laptops... so im asking you lot 
basically her "specs"/uses are:
windows xp
internet browsing and reseach (probably facebook and youtube)
streaming media content(tv shows and such)
uni work (word processing so just office apps really)
maybe watching a dvd
screen 15.4" or somewhere round there shoudl be fine
wifi
bluetooth maybe but i dont think she would use it
and well the cheaper the better really
and finally her limit is £350, but as above the cheaper the better
