Spec me a laptop

I'm looking for a laptop that can play 'mid-spec' games. It will be used for general stuff like word processing and internet as well.

I'm thinking it will need a core 2 duo and a reasonable graphics card.
If possible an integrated TV tuner would be good but only if the cost isn't a stupid amount extra.

A decent make, well built laptop would be nice as well.


What would you suggest?

Centrino 2 laptop.

P8600, 4gb RAM, 9600GT would do nicely. Depends what you mean by mid-spec games, I'm not a massive gamer but am getting the 9800M GTS just to allow better graphics.

TBH an 8600GT would be sufficient.

I think the above spec is a bit overkill for my needs. Although it would be good to know a rough price for it?

A core 2 duo 1.8 or 2.0ghz with 2-3gb ram should do. Any recommendations based on that?
