Spec me a laptop!

Hi all,

My Powerbook G4 17" Aluminum (Mac) has given up the ghost!

1.33GHZ / 1GB RAM / ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 / 80GB HDD 2X Superdrive

I'm in need to replace it but i don't know which manufacture to trust

Looking around £300 / £400 (max)

All the PB was used for was Internet / Email / Itunes

would be nice to have a mac , but atm its causing more of a pain

were the cheapest I could find, minus the mini ones, which the flaw I've found is I have yet to find one with an optical drive (someone point me to one?) and you need that for software installs, especially OS...

I'd shop around if I were you if you want a laptop cheaper than £500.
